Job summary

OCEAN MARBLE & GRANITE TECHNICAL SERVICES LLC in Dubai seeks a civil/stone works site professional to translate AutoCAD drawings into accurate on-site installation, ensuring design compliance and quality.

You will read and verify drawings, prepare cut lists, coordinate with architects and consultants, supervise on-site teams, and conduct quantity take-offs, ensuring installation matches approved drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field; 3–5 years stone/construction experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (reading & basic editing) and reading architectural/structural drawings.
• Knowledge of stone installation methods, tolerances & specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• MS Office (Excel/Word) for reports and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and verify AutoCAD drawings and shop drawings for stone installation.
• Coordinate with architects/consultants to resolve design discrepancies.
• Supervise Foreman/Supervisor to ensure execution matches drawings.
• Review shop drawings from fabrication workshop before slab cutting.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and material requirement calculations from drawings.
• Ensure quality control against technical specifications and tolerances.
• Liaise with Project Manager, consultants and clients on technical matters.

Manage technical execution of stone works on site translating AutoCAD architectural drawings into accurate installation ensuring design compliance quality and coordination between design and execution teams strong

Key Responsibilities

• Read interpret verify AutoCAD drawings architectural layouts and shop drawings for stone installationPrepare check cutting lists templates and layout markings based on drawings
• Coordinate with architects consultants to resolve design discrepancies or site conditionsConvert 2D drawings into on-site setting-out levels grids reference points
• Supervise Foreman Supervisor to ensure execution matches approved drawingsReview shop drawings from fabrication workshop before slab cutting
• Conduct quantity take-offs and material requirement calculations from drawingsEnsure quality control against technical specifications and tolerancesResolve on-site technical issues drawing vs actual site conditions Liaise with Project Manager consultants and clients on technical matters
