Job summary

XAD Technologies is seeking a Planning Engineer – Civil Construction in the UAE to lead scheduling for complex civil projects. You will develop baseline programs, monitor progress, and report on schedule performance using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant planning experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with EVM, EOT claims, and cash flow forecasting. UAE experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil construction planning.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong baseline scheduling and delay analysis knowledge.
• Experience in progress reports, look-ahead schedules and cash flow forecasts.
• Familiarity with EOT claims, EVM, BOQs, and drawings.
• Excellent coordination, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop baseline project schedules and tender programs.
• Prepare, update and maintain schedules in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Monitor progress, identify deviations, and suggest corrective actions.
• Coordinate with PMs, site engineers, consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards.
• Analyze delays, critical path, and schedule impacts; assist EOT claims.
• Apply EVM to monitor schedule and cost performance.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules, resource plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specs to support planning.
• Participate in progress meetings and update milestones and risks.
