Job summary

TalentsTide in UAE seeks a Chief Projects Officer (CPO) to provide strategic and operational leadership across the project portfolio in the construction & contracting sector. You will drive multi-project delivery, governance, and profitability while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 15–20+ years of senior leadership experience, UAE/GCC familiarity, and a proven track record in large-scale projects, with emphasis on controls, contracts, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 15–20+ years of experience in construction and contracting with senior leadership.
• Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects and multi-project portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple construction projects from planning through execution and final handover.
• Drive project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Oversee project financial performance, profitability, cost control, cash flow, and commercial risk management.
• Establish project governance frameworks, KPIs, reporting systems, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Optimize resource allocation across projects, including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Manage key relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Lead and develop project directors, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
