Freight care Logistics (Pty) Ltd in Dubai seeks a strategic, hands-on Chief Accountant to lead financial controls, oversee a global network of shipping agents, and optimize liquidity in a high-volume NVOCC environment.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in core accounting, 3–5 years UAE NVOCC/liner shipping experience, strong reconciliation skills, and proficiency with MS Excel and shipping ERP systems. You will drive compliance and robust treasury management in multi-currency operations.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and resolve Statements of Accounts across 40+ international shipping agents.
• Oversee financial accounting for a container fleet exceeding 20,000 TEUs.
• Control and audit port charges, M&R, storage, demurrage, and related receivables/payables.
• Manage regional treasury, cash flow, working capital, and multi-currency transactions.
• Ensure compliance with agency agreements and UAE financial regulations.

WE’RE HIRING | Chief Accountant – NVOCC / Liner Shipping

Location: Dubai, UAE | In-office

We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and hands-on Chief Accountant to lead financial controls, optimize fund management, and oversee a global network of shipping agents.

If you have strong experience in NVOCC or liner shipping, excellent reconciliation skills, and the ability to manage complex, high-volume financial operations, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve Statements of Accounts (SoA) across 40+ international shipping agents.
• Oversee financial accounting for a container fleet exceeding 20,000 TEUs.
• Control and audit port charges, container Maintenance & Repair (M&R), storage, demurrage, and related receivables/payables.
• Manage regional treasury, cash flow, working capital, and multi-currency transactions.
• Ensure compliance with agency agreements and applicable UAE financial regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of core accounting experience.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in the UAE NVOCC or liner shipping industry.
• Strong knowledge of agency agreements, port disbursement accounts (DA), agent reconciliation, and container life-cycle costing.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in shipping ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
