Maseera is seeking an attentive accountant who understands that logistics accounting goes beyond bookkeeping, with close control over trips, costs, billing, and VAT records.

The role focuses on daily bookkeeping, invoicing, AR/AP, reconciliations, and timely management reporting to support operations in Fujairah. Immediate joiners preferred and candidates must be available to work in Fujairah.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years UAE accounting experience.
• Experience in transport, logistics, freight forwarding, or a similar business is strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT.
• Experience with accounting software.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting entries.
• Prepare customer invoices and record supplier invoices.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Perform bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
• Track transport trips, operational costs, vehicle expenses, advances, and supplier payments.
• Reconcile trip records against customer billing and supplier costs.
• Maintain proper supporting documents for all transactions.
• Manage petty cash and operational advances.
• Assist with VAT records and VAT return preparation.
• Prepare monthly P&L, expense reports, receivable ageing, payable ageing, and management reports.
• Follow up professionally with customers regarding outstanding payments when required.
• Maintain organized accounting records for audit and management review.

• Must be willing to work in Fujairah.
