Job summary

S Eight Transport & Logistics in Fujairah is seeking an organised accounting professional to manage daily bookkeeping, invoicing, and cash controls within a logistics-focused environment.

You will handle VAT records, reconciliations, cost tracking for trips, and collaboration with operations and management to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely collections.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years UAE accounting experience.
• Experience in transport/logistics preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Good communication with operations and management.
• Confident, practical, organized, able to work independently.
• Willing to work in Fujairah.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
• Logistics accounting requires control over trips, costs, billing and documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting entries.
• Prepare customer invoices and record supplier invoices.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Perform bank customer and supplier reconciliations.
• Track transport trips operational costs, vehicle expenses, advances and supplier payments.
• Reconcile trip records against customer billing and supplier costs.
• Maintain proper supporting documents for all transactions.
• Manage petty cash and operational advances.
• Assist with VAT records and VAT return preparation.
• Prepare monthly P&L, expense reports, receivable ageing, payable ageing and management reports.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments as needed.
• Maintain organized accounting records for audit and management review.

Requirements
