Kerzner International's Bab Al Shams Desert Resort seeks a Chef de Partie to support the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef, stepping in when needed. You will supervise junior cooks, ensure high standards of food preparation, and assist with cost controls to protect gross profit.

In this five-star setting, you will lead Demi and Commis chefs, maintain HACCP compliance, organize mise-en-place, and contribute to a safe, hygienic kitchen.

Competenze

• 2–3 years in a similar five-star hotel role.
• Previous supervisory experience and leadership abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• HACCP knowledge and good product knowledge.
• Able to work independently or in teams and make decisions.

Mansioni

• Assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef and cover in their absence.
• Supervise staff and ensure high levels of food preparation.
• Help with food cost controls.
• Assign tasks to Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs.
• Maintain hygiene and HACCP forms.
• Prepare mise-en-place for relevant menus.
• Ensure cross-contamination prevention and clean work areas.
• Assist Head Chef/Sous Chef in staff training.
• Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues.
• Comply with safety regulations and hotel policies.
