Job summary

Kerzner International’s One&Only The Palm in Dubai seeks a Chef de Partie to join its luxury kitchen. You will oversee your designated section, prep and present dishes, and contribute to the resort's high standards of quality and service.

The role requires 2–4 years in a upscale 5-star hotel or resort kitchen, strong culinary knowledge, and fluent English; additional language a plus. You will train junior staff, maintain hygiene, and support banquets and events as needed.

Qualifications

A suitable candidate should have a minimum of 2–4 years of experience in an upscale 5-star hotel or resort kitchen environment.
Strong culinary knowledge and a solid understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations are essential.
Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of an additional language will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your designated section according to kitchen standards.
Assist with the creation of menu items and daily specials.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in your section.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimize waste.
Train and supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants.
Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef on kitchen operations.
Ensure timely preparation and smooth flow during service hours.
