Job summary

Citi seeks a senior leader to drive the growth of Citi Commercial Banking in the UAE. You will develop and execute the business strategy, own the local P&L, and partner with Risk, Operations, and product teams to deliver sustainable results and superior client experience.

You will lead a diverse team, manage risk and capital allocations, and work with authorities to grow market share while maintaining high standards of governance and control.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate/commercial banking with P&L ownership.
• UAE market knowledge preferred and strong risk awareness.
• MBA or equivalent; professional finance qualifications are a plus.
• Proven track record in leading teams and delivering growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth of CCB business in UAE.
• Develop, implement and execute a business strategy to support organic growth and returns.
• Grow market share in key segments and expand the customer base.
• Responsible for client P&L of the local CCB business with sound operating efficiency.
• Develop deep understanding of the local market and build client relationships.
• Ensure value proposition leveraging Citi capabilities and network.
• Establish pricing policies to drive returns at the customer level.
• Ensure credit portfolio quality and prompt problem recognition.
• Act as Senior Sponsoring Officer for large credit clients; partner with Risk.
• Manage, recruit, and motivate a team with aligned KPIs.
• Talent development and coaching; drive stretch targets.
• Collaborate with Markets, Treasury, Trade Solutions and Corporate Banking teams.
• Partner with Operations and Technology to ensure delivery and service.
• Represent CCB on internal governance committees in UAE; ensure compliance and KYC.
