Job summary

AccorHotels Middle East is seeking an experienced Captain Waiter to deliver exceptional luxury dining service in a high-end setting in the UAE. You will lead the service team, greet guests with discretion, and ensure every guest experiences personalized recommendations and seamless coordination with kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in upscale establishments, strong knowledge of wine and beverages, and the ability to maintain the highest hospitality standards

Job Description

• Welcome and attend to guests with warmth, elegance, and professionalism.

• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Recognize VIP guests, regular customers, special occasions, and individual preferences.
• Maintain the highest standards of luxury hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise and coordinate Commis Waiters and other assigned service team members.
• Delegate duties effectively and ensure all team members understand their responsibilities.
• Brief the team before each service, communicating reservations, VIP guests, special requests, and menu changes.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and on-the-job training.
• Lead by example, maintaining high standards of grooming, punctuality, discipline, and professionalism.
• Ensure smooth communication between the front-of-house and kitchen teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in upscale restaurants, luxury hotels, or fine-dining establishments.
• Previous experience in a Captain Waiter, Chef de Rang, or senior waiter position is preferred.
• Strong understanding of fine-dining service standards and etiquette.
• Excellent food, wine, and beverage knowledge.
• Experience supervising and guiding junior service staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional service standards.
