Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a skilled Structural Drafter to translate designs into precise CAD drawings and to produce 2D/3D models of structural elements for diverse projects. The candidate will prepare shop drawings for steel, concrete and timber and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to resolve conflicts and ensure code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Translate structural designs into detailed CAD drawings with accurate dimensions.
• Create 2D/3D models of beams, columns, foundations, and reinforcement.
• Prepare shop drawings and fabrication details for steel, concrete, timber.

Job description

• Translate structural engineer's designs and calculations into detailed construction drawings using CAD software, ensuring all dimensions and specifications are accurately represented.
• Develop precise 2D and 3D models of structural elements, including beams, columns, foundations, and reinforcement, for various building types and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare comprehensive shop drawings and fabrication details for steel, concrete, and timber structures, facilitating efficient construction and assembly on-site.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects to resolve design conflicts and ensure drawings align with project requirements and building codes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• Hold professional certifications in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Certified Professional) or structural drafting.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in structural drafting for building construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
