Job summary

The Lana, Dubai is seeking a professional Butler to deliver personalised, unforgettable service in a luxury 5-star environment. You will master in-suite services, guest needs, and city attractions, coordinating with Front Office and F&B to ensure flawless guest experiences.

Fluency in English is required; Arabic is preferred. A minimum of 1 year in a similar luxury role is expected, with Middle East experience considered advantageous. This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position in a luxury 5-star brand
• Certified butler professional
• Arabic language is preferred; English essential
• Middle East experience is advantageous
• Strong guest-service orientation and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and personalized service to ensure guests receive the best experience
• Be knowledgeable of in-suite services, amenities, hotel services and city activities
• Ensure guest rooms are ready on time and fulfill special requests, coordinating with Front Office and F&B
• Receive guests in a professional and friendly manner and act as a point of contact during their stay
• Assist guests with packing/unpacking and in-room service requests in coordination with other departments
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of work areas and equipment

What You'll Do

• You are responsible to provide professional and personalized service to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• You should be knowledgeable of in-suite services, technology and amenities, hotel services and city-wide activities.
• You will ensure the allocated guest rooms are ready on time, and all special requests have been prepared. Work with other departments, notably front office, and Food & Beverage, to manage our guests’ requests.
• Receive guests in a professional and friendly manner, exceeding guest expectations from arrival through to departure. Act as a point of contact for the guest during their stay, assisting with any arrangements or requests of the guests.
• You will be responsible for packing, unpacking, serving Food & Beverage requirements in the room and liaising with other departments to have seamless access and service to the suite/rooms.
• You will assist guests and handle any guest concerns in a professional manner and ensure a positive outcome.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and proper handling of assigned work areas, equipment, and materials.

• You will be knowledgeable of PMS, payroll and purchasing systems and be computer literate.
• Communication is what keeps our department running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong guest service ethic.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language Additional languages such as Arabic, are preferred.
• You will have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar position in a luxury 5-star brand, pre-opening experience would be advantageous. Middle East experience would be advantageous.
• You must be a certified butler professional.
