Job summary

Dorchester Collection Dubai seeks a Senior Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at The Lana Dorchester Collection Dubai. You will learn from an award-winning academy, uphold Dorchester standards, and mentor a multicultural staff to achieve excellence.

You will drive guest satisfaction, manage budgets, and contribute to revenue and cost controls while maintaining the highest levels of service in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role in a luxury 5-star brand.
• Middle East experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest excellence.
• Assist the Assistant Executive Housekeeper in daily department operations and lead a multicultural team.
• Supervise daily shift operations to maintain standards and cleanliness.
• Ensure guestrooms, public spaces, and staff areas are clean and well maintained.
• Carry out inspections and address corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain guest and colleague satisfaction while managing the operating budget.
• Assist in managing controllable department expenses to meet budgeted goals.
• Lead, inspire, and train the housekeeping team and participate in recruitment and disciplinary processes.

• You will be responsible for assisting in the overseeing of the Housekeeping Operations to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience
• You are responsible to assist the Assistant Executive Housekeeper in the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department and guide and develop a committed multicultural team to ensure the impeccable Dorchester standards are met in all areas
• Assists in the oversight of the daily shift operations of Housekeeping
• Works with colleagues to ensure property guestrooms public space and colleagues areas are clean and well maintained
• Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action
• Ensuring guest and colleague satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget
• You ll also participate in the management of the department s controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals

You will have a good commercial awareness and cost control capabilities You will have leadership skills to be able to develop and guide a multicultural team to ensure exception standards and guest experiences. As a detail orientated and hands on Team Player with strong interpersonal skills, you will be able to interact with all departments to ensure a cohesive working environment and to get things done. You will be passionate, dynamic and guest focused who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of guest service and provide creative solutions to our guests. You will be able to comprehend P&L statements, payroll and purchasing systems to assist in the financial management of the department. Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong guest service ethic. Englishis the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicatein this language. You will have a least 2 years experiences in a similar position in a luxury 5-star brand. MiddleEast experience would be advantageous.
