Role Overview

Ampd Energy is growing and seeking a Business Development Specialist to join its GCC Business Development team. Ampd’s Enertainer provides a new way for the construction industry to power its growth, vastly reducing emissions and providing a high level of data transparency. You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding the GCC sales target, developing long‑term relationships with clients and managing and updating sales pipeline reports in the CRM system. You should be motivated, reliable, thorough and excited about being among the first in the world to work with game‑changing products. You will be expected to operate with a degree of autonomy and be a clear, candid and effective communicator in both spoken and written English and Arabic. Come join our mission‑driven team.

Responsibilities

• Build Relationships: Develop long‑term relationships with clients through actively reaching out to customers for solution presentation, collecting market information and interpreting clients’ requirements to provide the best solution satisfying their needs in terms of technical and commercial aspects.
• Sell: Work with the team lead to execute sales strategies and action plans for achieving and even exceeding sales targets.
• Build & Nurture Pipelines: Establish, manage, nurture and grow sales pipelines through direct and indirect channels. Keep this pipeline up to date and provide accurate progression on the sales cycle.
• Own Sales Process: Perform routine sales activities including pre‑sales consultation, preparation of client quotations, work closely with the Application Team on technical proposals, negotiation on tender and contract terms and conditions, coordination with clients on payment schedules.
• Partner with Distributors: Collaborate closely with distributors to forecast and plan market demand and communicate product requirements to the Supply Chain team and Product Manager. Train distributor sales personnel on consultative selling of Ampd Energy products and solutions, facilitating their business pitch to end‑users.
• Support Sales Ops: Support sales operations activities including pre‑delivery site visits, coordinating authorities’ submissions and ensuring products are ready for delivery based on committed timelines. Prepare ad hoc internal reports as required to support the sales team.

Qualifications

• Educated: Bachelors degree in business/engineering or related disciplines.
• Experienced: At least 3 years sales or business development experience preferably with experience in the renewable or diesel power industry.
• Multilingual: Good command in written and spoken English and native Arabic.
• Passionate: Strong interest in the green energy industry.
• Communicator: Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Learns Quickly: Strong capability to pick up technical concepts quickly and be able to explain them simply to customers.
• Salesperson: Good consultative selling skills. Customer focus, good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good command in PC skills e.g. MS Office, Google Workspace, capable of using and maintaining CRM systems and other digital tools.
• Hardworking and self‑motivated: Keen to learn and willing to accept new challenges; attitude is a must!
