Role Description

The Business Development Officer (Junior) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, supporting tender and proposal preparation, and assisting in developing client relationships across the company’s service portfolio. Day-to-day tasks include researching market trends, gathering and analyzing client requirements, preparing presentations and basic financial summaries, and maintaining accurate records of leads and opportunities. The officer will collaborate with senior business development and operations teams, attend client meetings when required, and support follow-up communication to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Strong New Business Development skills, including lead generation, opportunity identification, and support in proposal preparation.
• Solid Analytical Skills and basic Finance understanding to interpret market data, assist in pricing, and prepare simple financial reports.
• Effective Communication skills for internal coordination and external client interactions, including clear written and verbal business correspondence.
• Customer Service orientation with the ability to build rapport, respond to inquiries promptly, and support long-term client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prior internship or 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in contracting, construction, or technical services is a plus.
