Hands is a design-focused brand specializing in carpets and rugs, working across residential and project-based requirements with interior designers, architects, and hospitality clients.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive growth by building strong relationships within the design and hospitality community in Dubai.

This is a front-facing, high-energy role focused on generating leads, converting them into clients, and managing ongoing projects through coordination with internal teams and factories.

The role requires someone who is confident, articulate, proactive, and capable of handling both client relationships and order follow-ups independently.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Lead Generation
  • Identify and approach interior designers, architects, and hospitality clients
  • Generate new leads through networking, cold visits, referrals, and industry events
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients
  • Proactively seek out new residential and commercial projects
  • Develop relationships that convert into long-term business
Client Relationship Management
  • Meet clients regularly to present products and collections
  • Understand project requirements and propose suitable solutions
  • Maintain strong follow-ups to convert enquiries into confirmed orders
  • Build long-term relationships with designers, consultants, and developers
  • Work with the internal team to prepare quotations and proposals
  • Follow up with clients to close deals
  • Track project progress from enquiry to order confirmation
  • Support in achieving monthly and quarterly targets
Factory Coordination & Order Follow-Up

AN ADMIN WILL BE ASSISTING IN ALL THESE ACTIVITIES

  • Coordinate with factories for all ongoing orders
  • Follow up on production timelines, updates, and delays
  • Communicate order status clearly to clients
  • Ensure accuracy of specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines
  • Act as the bridge between client expectations and factory execution
  • Resolve issues proactively during production and dispatch stages
  • Stay updated on trends in interiors, flooring, and hospitality
  • Track competitors and identify opportunities in the market
  • Identify high-value clients and key accounts
Candidate Profile:
  • 2–6 years’ experience in business development/sales (flooring, interiors, or building materials preferred)
  • Prior experience working with interior designers, architects, or hospitality clients is essential
  • Excellent spoken and written English (non-negotiable)
  • Outgoing, confident, and well-presented personality
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Smart, quick-thinking, and able to handle spontaneous client interactions
  • Ability to manage both sales and coordination responsibilities simultaneously
  • Self-driven and target-oriented
  • Comfortable with field work and client visits across Dubai
Preferred:
  • Experience in carpets, rugs, flooring, or interior products
  • Existing network within UAE design or hospitality industry
