Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to join a growing food production startup in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with the founder to develop and execute growth strategies, identify opportunities, and build strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates will have experience in business development for a startup, excellent English, and the ability to work independently. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Business Development Executive to join a growing food production startup in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working closely with a founder or business owner and helping to develop and grow a small business.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the founder to develop and execute business growth strategies.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.
• Conduct market research and identify potential markets and business opportunities.
• Generate leads, arrange meetings, and follow up with prospective clients.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations as required.
• Follow up on leads and convert opportunities into new business.
• Support the founder with day-to-day business development activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of client requirements.
• Attend client meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and business events when required.
• Monitor client feedback and identify opportunities to improve services and increase business.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, clients, and business activities.
• Take initiative and proactively identify ways to support the company's growth.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, or a similar role preferably in food production industry
• Experience working directly with a founder, entrepreneur, or small business owner is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience supporting the growth or development of a small business.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Confident, professional, and well-presented.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Minimum High School qualification; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• F&B, food production, catering, hospitality, or related industry experience would be an advantage.

Schedule:9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 6 days per week, including a 1-hour break. Start: Immediately/ short notice
