Job summary

Rootsec in Dubai is seeking a Business Developer Cybersecurity to bring our tested services to the UAE market. You will identify and approach prospective clients, translate complex security offerings into business value, and drive the full sales cycle from first contact to signed proposals.

You will collaborate with our security consultants on scoping, proposals and quarterly targets, while building lasting relationships with enterprises, government bodies, and fast-growing firms across the UAE

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales or business development in IT/security services.
• Strong English communication; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to write accurate, well-structured proposals.

Rootsec delivers penetration testing, red teaming, 24/7 monitoring and incident response to organisations across the UAE. Our technical team is strong. What we need next is someone who can bring that strength to the market: find the right clients, understand their risk, and show them why Rootsec is the right partner.

Eligibility: UAE-based candidates only. You must already live in the UAE and hold a valid residence visa, or otherwise be legally entitled to work in the UAE without employer sponsorship. We do not offer visa sponsorship or relocation for this role, and applications that depend on either will not be processed.

What you will do

• Identify and approach prospective clients in the UAE and GCC: enterprises, semi-government bodies and scale-ups.
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed proposal.
• Build lasting relationships with existing clients and grow the accounts.
• Translate technical services into clear commercial value.
• Work closely with our consultants on scoping and proposals.
• Meet quarterly targets and report on your pipeline.

What we expect

• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in IT, security or professional services.
• Strong communication skills in English. Arabic is a plus.
• A network in the UAE business community is a strong plus.
• Commercially sharp, persistent and well organised.
• Able to write accurate, well structured proposals.
• Security knowledge is welcome but not required; we will teach you the subject matter.
• Comfortable in a direct, fast moving team.
