Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our partner’s project-based team for an 8-month contract . The ideal candidate will have strong product experience combined with solid expertise in financial services , playing a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technology solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements. You will ensure that business objectives are clearly translated into functional specifications and that solutions align with both user needs and financial sector standards.

Requirements

Business Analysis & Product Expertise

  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders, documenting business needs, workflows, and processes.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the liaison between business and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Support product lifecycle activities, from ideation to delivery, ensuring requirements are met.

Financial Services Experience

  • Demonstrated experience working on projects within the financial services sector (e.g., banking, payments, fintech).
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in financial products.
  • Ability to analyze financial workflows and recommend optimized, compliant solutions.
  • Documentation & Delivery

  • Prepare detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), process flows, and reports.
  • Collaborate with QA teams in UAT to validate solutions against requirements.
  • Ensure requirements are implemented accurately and within project timelines.
  • Qualifications

  • BA / BS degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst , with strong product experience.
  • Proven experience in the financial services sector is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and / or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with analysis and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with digital transformation projects in financial institutions.
  • Exposure to enterprise-level product development and integration projects.
  • Familiarity with QA practices and UAT facilitation.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
