Kitopi is seeking a passionate Commis Chef with a focus on burgers to join our culinary team in a fast-paced kitchen. You will assist in prep, cooking, and presentation across international cuisines, while following recipes and hygiene standards.

Minimum 1–2 years in a Commis Chef role is required, with strong burger experience and solid food safety knowledge. You will support senior chefs, ensure proper storage, and maintain a clean, efficient station in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Commis Chef.
• Experience in Burgers and similar is a must.
• Strong knowledge of food safety & hygiene.
• Ability to work in a high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes from various international cuisines.
• Follow recipes, standards, and hygiene practices.
• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in your section.
• Contribute to a smooth and efficient kitchen workflow.
