AECOM is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer – Bridges / Structural to join our infrastructure project team in Abu Dhabi. You will supervise bridge and structural construction works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, quality standards and project requirements.

You will coordinate with the Resident Engineer, inspectors, surveyors, contractor and design team to resolve technical issues and ensure progress aligns with the schedule.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in bridge construction and structural works on major infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of bridge foundations, piling, reinforced concrete structures, decks, bearings and expansion joints.
• Experience in reviewing technical submissions, supervising site works and inspections.
• Understanding of construction specs, quality control procedures and HSE requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, supervision teams and stakeholders.
• Good communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Previous UAE experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and monitor bridge and structural works incl. foundations, piling, piers, decks, bearings and joints.
• Monitor reinforced concrete works: reinforcement, formwork, pouring, curing and finishing.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals and technical submissions.
• Ensure construction aligns with drawings, specs and standards.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineer, inspectors, surveyors, contractor and design team.
• Review inspection requests, monitor site inspections and follow up RFIs/non-conformance.
