Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to support supervision of bridge, tunnel, and infrastructure works in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time, on-site role requires coordinating with the Resident Engineer, reviewing technical submissions, and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.

The candidate will monitor structural elements, guide field activities, and help maintain project documentation, health, safety, and quality on site. UAE infrastructure experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and coordination skills are essential.
• Experience supervising major civil and structural works is required.
• Ability to review drawings, method statements and technical submissions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in managing construction activities for bridges, tunnels and infrastructure.
• Monitor site quality, progress and compliance with drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, inspectors and surveyors to resolve site issues.
• Maintain site records and project documentation.
• Support safety, quality and delivery of the works.
