Job summary

AECOM seeks a Senior Resident Engineer for an on-site infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. You will lead the site supervision team, manage daily construction activities for bridges, tunnels, roads, and utilities, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and contract requirements.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, proven site supervision and construction management experience, and strong leadership and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in site supervision and construction management.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and contract requirements.
• UAE/GCC infrastructure project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site supervision team and oversee daily construction activities.
• Supervise bridges, tunnels, roads, utilities projects.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs, method statements and contracts.
• Coordinate with contractor, client, authorities and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, resources and performance; review shop drawings and submittals.
• Lead meetings and ensure QA/QC, HSE, and handover requirements.
• Provide technical and managerial support to Project Manager.
