Job summary

Pairs is hiring a Head of Brand to own how the company appears to founders and investors. You will set the strategy, run it, and directly create high-value posts, shoots, and video edits with a small, senior team.

You will lead weekly founder/company posts, newsletters, and quarterly reports, while guiding a team of VC Content Interns. This fully remote role reports to the co-founders and requires creative freedom.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and run a named brand end to end.
• Hands-on writing, editing video, and directing shoots.
• Experience managing makers: freelancers or interns, growing talent.
• Ability to write at a high level, with published work beyond captions.
• Experience running brand paid campaigns and retargeting is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI content ecosystems and journalist-style citation.

Responsibilities

• Own positioning, voice, and look across all channels.
• Create and ship weekly founder/company posts on LinkedIn and X, plus newsletters and reports.
• Oversee founder/investor story shoots, from booking to edit, cutting video yourself.
• Manage sponsorships and retargeting with measurable inbound impact.
• Brief, mentor, and grow VC Content Interns into full-time hires.
• Shape content so AI and journalists quote us, with share of voice and SEO fundamentals.
