Job summary

ADIB Group is seeking an Operations and Service Officer at the BR-Baniyas Branch in Abu Dhabi to oversee branch operations, cash handling, and service delivery. You will manage staff, assure compliance with policies, and drive sales of ADIB products through excellent customer service.

The role requires strong knowledge of branch operations, Central Bank regulations, and English communication, with 4–5 years in banking or retail sales. UAE-based branch operations experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ADIB products and services.
• Understanding of branch operations and back office functions.
• Familiarity with ADIB policies and systems.
• Thorough knowledge of Central Bank of UAE regulations.
• Strong computer skills.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Cash vault dual control and vault management.
• Approve daily transactions, remittances, and overrides as per limits.
• Manage branch cash and cash handling as per limits.
• Process and balance daily inward/outward clearing transactions.
• Reconcile teller transactions and review errors.
• Approve work processes and system inputs for deposits and services.
• Ensure customer transactions comply with ADIB policies.
• Sign on behalf of the bank within assigned limits.
• Supervise branch operations for policy compliance and audits.
• Conduct monthly surprise vault cash checks and report exceptions.
• Drive process improvements and customer service efficiency.
• Promote ADIB deposit, card and Takaful products to customers.
• Monitor sales performance and set branch growth plans.
• Coach staff to increase sales productivity and cross-selling.
• Monitor service levels and customer satisfaction; handle complaints.
