The role requires a hands-on, energetic approach in a busy entertainment setting with rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and UAE public holidays. Proficiency in English is preferred; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Title: Bowling Operation Attendant

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Bowling Operation Attendant to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, assisting customers with bowling activities, maintaining bowling lanes and equipment, and ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all guests. The role requires a hands‑on approach and the ability to work efficiently in a busy entertainment environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Explain bowling rules, packages, promotions, pricing, and available services.
• Assist guests with lane assignments, bowling shoes, and bowling balls.
• Escort guests to their assigned lanes and assist with lane setup.
• Respond promptly to customer requests, questions, and complaints.
• Ensure guests have a positive and enjoyable bowling experience.
• Always maintain professional and courteous communication with customers.

Bowling Operations

• Allocate and monitor bowling lanes according to bookings and availability.
• Monitor bowling lanes during play and respond to customer assistance requests.
• Report lane, scoring system, pinsetter, or other equipment issues to the supervisor or technician.
• Perform basic troubleshooting where trained and permitted.
• Ensure bowling equipment is properly stored and available for guests.
• Check and organize bowling shoes and ensure they are cleaned/sanitized after use.
• Assist with birthday parties, corporate events, tournaments, and group bookings when required.

Safety & Cleanliness

• Ensure guests follow bowling safety rules and facility guidelines.
• Monitor the bowling area for hazards and report any safety concerns immediately.
• Keep lanes, seating areas, counters, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Ensure bowling shoes and equipment are maintained in a clean and presentable condition.
• Follow all company health, safety, emergency, and operational procedures.

Cashier / POS Support

• Process customer payments accurately through cash, card, or POS systems when assigned.
• Assist with bookings, lane reservations, and customer transactions.
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Report any cash or payment discrepancies to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in bowling, entertainment, hospitality, leisure, retail, or customer service is an advantage.
• Good command of English; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service-oriented personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and POS knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Physically fit and able to perform operational duties as required.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, and UAE public holidays.
