Job summary

Ayat Group is seeking a Receptionist / Cashier – Gaming Zone (Mall) in Sharjah. You will welcome customers, handle bookings and payments, operate the POS system, and support daily operations with the gaming staff.

The role requires good English, cash handling and customer service skills, willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, and a friendly, energetic approach. In-person work at the mall gaming zone.

Job Summary: Responsible for welcoming customers, handling gaming-zone bookings and payments, operating the cash register/POS system, and providing excellent customer service. The role also involves maintaining the reception area and coordinating with the gaming staff to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and explain available games, packages, prices, and promotions.
• Handle customer registrations, bookings, and payments.
• Operate the POS/cashier system and issue receipts.
• Maintain proper cash records and complete daily cash reconciliation.
• Answer customer inquiries and assist with complaints professionally.
• Monitor game-session timings and coordinate with gaming-zone staff.
• Ensure the reception and waiting area remain clean and organized.
• Promote memberships, packages, special offers, and additional services.
• Follow mall and gaming-zone safety, security, and company procedures.
• Prepare daily sales and attendance reports when required.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cashier, receptionist, customer service, retail, or entertainment is preferred.
