Job summary

Black & Grey HR Consultancy FZE, partnered with a UAE construction leader, seeks a BIM Modeler – Fit-Out to create and maintain accurate BIM models for interior projects. You will develop detailed BIM models in Revit, prepare shop drawings, coordinate with architects, engineers and site teams, and ensure compliance with project standards and LOD requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or related field.
• 5+ years as BIM Modeler with fit-out/interior project experience.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Experience with shop drawings and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed BIM models for fit-out/interior projects using Revit.
• Model partitions, ceilings, floors, wall finishes, doors, and joinery.
• Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings, sections, elevations, details, and schedules.

• Maintain BIM standards, LOD 300/400 compliance, and project documentation.
• Assist with quantity extraction and model-based information as needed.

BIM Modeler – Fit-Out

Black & Grey HR is partnering with one of the UAE’s established construction and infrastructure companies to hire a BIM Modeler – Fit-Out. The BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating, developing, and updating accurate BIM models and technical drawings for fit-out projects. The role requires hands‑on experience in Revit, interior/architectural modelling, detailing, and BIM coordination, with a strong understanding of fit‑out construction and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed BIM models for fit‑out and interior projects using Revit.
• Model partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors, joinery, furniture, and other interior elements.
• Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings, sections, elevations, details, and schedules from BIM models.
• Develop and update models based on approved designs, RFIs, site conditions, and project revisions.
• Coordinate architectural, MEP, structural, and specialist fit‑out models.
• Identify clashes and modelling issues and support the coordination and resolution process.
• Ensure BIM models are developed in accordance with project standards, LOD requirements, and BIM protocols.
• Work closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, site teams, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and update as‑built models and drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Maintain model revisions, drawing standards, and accurate project documentation.
• Assist with quantity extraction, schedules, and other model‑based information when required.
• Ensure drawings and models are delivered accurately and within project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a BIM Modeler, with relevant experience in fit‑out/interior projects.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Hands‑on experience in architectural and interior BIM modelling.
• Good understanding of fit‑out construction, materials, finishes, and detailing.
• Experience preparing shop drawings and construction documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Basic understanding of BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Knowledge of Navisworks is an advantage.
• Experience working with LOD 300/400 models is preferred.
• UAE/GCC project experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
