Job summary

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM Modeler (Dry Utilities) to join our Design team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will support the BIM Coordinator and Project Delivery Teams to develop, establish and implement BIM workflows on infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of BIM modelling experience with Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 and Forma, plus strong QA/QC, coordination and reporting skills for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM modelling experience on infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 and Forma.
• Strong BIM QA/QC, coordination, and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent MS Office and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day BIM implementation and model management activities.
• Develop and maintain 3D/2D models aligned with project LOD requirements and standards.
• Prepare drawings from models and extract 2D geometry for reviews.
• Extract model information for clash analysis, schedule review, and QS/QTO.
• Perform clash detection, walkthroughs, and provide constructability reports.
• Coordinate model interfaces with disciplines and ensure quality validation.
• Support BIM submissions and model delivery per project protocols.

Job description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM Modeler (Dry Utilities) to join our Design team! In this role you will get to support the BIM Coordinator and our Project Delivery Teams to execute the day-to-day development, establishment and implementation of BIM in Parsons Main office in Abu Dhabi.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support day-to-day BIM implementation and model management activities.
• Develop and maintain 3D/2D models aligned with project LOD requirements, modelling standards, and naming conventions.
• Prepare drawings from models (layouts, profiles, sections, details) and extract 2D geometry for coordination and internal reviews.
• Extract model information for clash analysis, schedule review, and quantity take‑off (QS/QTO).
• Perform clash detection, visual walkthroughs, and prepare models/reports for constructability analysis.
• Coordinate model interfaces with other disciplines and ensure quality checking/validation of BIM deliverables.
• Support BIM submissions and model delivery in accordance with agreed TIDP/MIDP and CDE protocols.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years relevant BIM modelling experience on infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Autodesk Forma, with solid understanding of model-based workflows and digital delivery.
• Strong capability in BIM QA/QC, coordination, clash/clearance detection, and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong technical documentation skills.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Experience modelling dry utilities (telecom, Falcon Eye, lighting, electrical).
• Familiarity with digital delivery requirements such as COBie, asset information modelling, O&M data and asset tagging.
• Strong communication and coordination skills in multidisciplinary teams
