Job summary

Rowad Modern Engineering in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned BIM Architectural Team Leader to guide a team of BIM engineers and technicians in delivering high-quality BIM models for major construction projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in architectural engineering.
• 8+ years of architectural engineering experience with strong BIM expertise.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp).
• Navisworks experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and design principles.
• Leadership and team-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of BIM engineers and technicians.
• Develop and manage complex architectural BIM models.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely BIM model delivery and integration.
• Implement and maintain BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
• Review BIM models for accuracy and compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with MEP, Engineering, Tender, and Operations teams.
• Liaise with consultants, designers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Role Summary

The BIM Architectural Team Leader will lead and manage a team of BIM engineers and technicians, ensuring the successful development, coordination, and delivery of high-quality BIM models for construction projects. The role will provide technical guidance, maintain BIM standards and workflows, and ensure model accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in Architectural Engineering, with strong BIM experience.
• Strong proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Graphisoft ArchiCAD, or SketchUp.
• Experience with Revit and Navisworks is preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles and applicable building codes.
• Good knowledge of construction industry practices and BIM workflows.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of BIM and architectural engineering.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• BIM certification, such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP), is an advantage
