MediaSource FZC is seeking a BIM Manager to lead the implementation and management of BIM and digital engineering strategies across projects. You will ensure model quality, data integration, and compliance with ISO 19650 standards throughout the project lifecycle.
You will coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models, review deliverables, mentor the team, and support digital handover and CDE processes for efficient project delivery.
To lead the implementation and management of BIM and digital engineering strategies across projects, ensuring effective digital coordination, information integration, model quality, and compliance with project and organizational standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and implement BIM and digital engineering strategies, standards, procedures, and workflows across assigned projects.
Lead BIM implementation throughout the project lifecycle from design development through construction, commissioning, and handover.
Develop, review, and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR), and other BIM-related project documentation.
Establish and maintain BIM standards, modelling protocols, naming conventions, Level of Information Need, and data requirements.
Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across architectural, structural, MEP, infrastructure, and other disciplines.
Lead model coordination, clash detection, constructability reviews, and resolution of design coordination issues.
Review BIM models and digital deliverables submitted by consultants and contractors for quality, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
Work closely with Design, Technical, Projects, Information Management, Construction, and other teams to integrate BIM into overall project delivery.
Manage BIM-related activities within the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure effective coordination with the Information Management function.
Support the use of digital engineering technologies, including 3D modelling, 4D scheduling, 5D cost integration, digital twins, and other digital delivery solutions where applicable.
Monitor BIM and digital engineering performance against established project requirements and KPIs.
Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, coordination, quality, and decision-making through digital tools and technologies.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, consultants, and contractors on BIM and digital engineering requirements.
Conduct BIM coordination meetings, workshops, model reviews, and technical presentations with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable BIM and information management standards, including ISO 19650 requirements where applicable.
Support the digital handover process, ensuring models, asset information, and associated data meet operational and project close-out requirements.
Keep abreast of emerging BIM technologies, digital engineering practices, automation tools, and industry developments.
Lead and mentor BIM and digital engineering team members and promote consistent digital delivery standards across projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, BIM, or a related discipline.
Professional BIM, Digital Engineering, or Project Management certification would be an advantage.
Strong experience in BIM and digital engineering within construction, real estate development, infrastructure, or major project environments.
Proven experience managing multidisciplinary BIM coordination and digital project delivery.
Strong knowledge of BIM standards and processes, including ISO 19650.
Proficiency in relevant BIM and digital engineering platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or equivalent.
Experience working with consultants, contractors, project teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
