Job summary

iTech Engineering Consultancy in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled BIM Architect to develop and maintain architectural BIM models and project documentation. You will collaborate with Architects, Engineers, BIM Coordinators, and BIM Managers to ensure accurate BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 4+ years of BIM experience, strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection. The position is full-time with on-site duties in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of BIM experience in architectural projects.
• Strong experience with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain architectural BIM models using Revit.
• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules.
• Coordinate architectural models with Structural, MEP, Civil, and other disciplines.
• Perform model reviews and assist with clash detection and resolution.
• Update models based on design changes, RFIs, site information, and project requirements.

About The Role

We are looking for a BIM Architect to join our BIM team and support the delivery of high-quality architectural BIM models and project documentation.

The successful candidate will work closely with Architects, Engineers, BIM Coordinators, and BIM Managers to develop, coordinate, and maintain accurate BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules.

• Good understanding of architectural design and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.

Preferred

• Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP).
• Experience working on residential, commercial, institutional, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, LOD, BEP, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience with Autodesk Navisworks.
• Experience with Autodesk ReCap and point cloud data.
• Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Knowledge of Dynamo for BIM workflow automation.
• Strong Revit Family Creation skills.
• Practical experience in Scan-to-BIM.
• Understanding of IFC / OpenBIM workflows.
