Accor is hiring a guest‑focused professional to prepare beach facilities, assist visitors with towels and seating, respond promptly to requests, and uphold hotel service, safety, and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to the beach with a courteous, friendly, and professional greeting.
- Assist guests promptly with seating, towels, umbrellas, cabanas, and general beach requests.
- Thank guests warmly as they leave the beach area.
- Prepare beach beds, cabanas, sun loungers, umbrellas, and service stations according to hotel procedures.
- Arrange clean towels before opening and replenish supplies throughout the day.
- Ensure beach furniture and guest‑use equipment are clean, orderly, and correctly positioned.
- Fold, secure, and store umbrellas safely at the end of operating hours.
- Monitor the cleanliness and presentation of the beach, walkways, cabanas, and surrounding areas.
- Remove litter and coordinate additional cleaning support when required.
- Inspect sunbeds, umbrellas, cabanas, and related equipment for damage or unsafe conditions.
- Report maintenance problems, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity immediately.
- Keep work areas safe and unobstructed at all times.
- Understand guest needs and respond within appropriate service timeframes.
- Communicate guest comments, concerns, and complaints to senior team members.
- Remain familiar with hotel service standards, procedures, facilities, and operating information.
- Follow grooming requirements and maintain a professional appearance throughout the shift.
- Apply hotel policies, safety procedures, security requirements, and departmental instructions.
- Attend mandatory meetings, briefings, and training sessions.
- Cooperate with Recreation, Security, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other hotel departments.
- Support special beach activities, guest events, and operational requirements when assigned.
- Perform other reasonable tasks requested by hotel management.
Qualifications
- High school certificate or vocational qualification in Hospitality.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a four‑star or five‑star hotel, resort, beach club, recreation facility, or guest service environment.
- Friendly and professional approach when interacting with guests.
- Strong awareness of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and service standards.
- Ability to respond quickly and politely to guest requests.
- Willingness to perform practical outdoor duties and move beach equipment.
- Ability to work in warm weather and remain active for extended periods.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Careful attention to hazardous conditions and suspicious activity.
- Ability to follow detailed operating procedures and management instructions.
- Team‑oriented attitude with the ability to coordinate across hotel departments.
- Reliable, punctual, and well groomed.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
