Role Summary

The Bartender plays a key role in creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere at the hotel's bar or restaurant outlets. The role involves mixing drinks, managing bar operations, and delivering exceptional guest service while adhering to safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer requests.
• Ensure proper presentation of drinks with correct garnishes and glassware.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beverages, and trends.
• Greet guests warmly and interact with them in a friendly, professional manner.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle customer concerns courteously and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout service hours.
• Restock inventory, including beverages, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, as required.
• Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with local alcohol regulations.
• Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible service of alcohol.
• Manage billing, process cash and card payments accurately, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
• Assist with event bar setups, breakdowns, and promotional activities.
• Support the team during peak service times and maintain a positive work environment.
• Adhere to health, hygiene, and safety standards in all food and beverage handling.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role within a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel preferred.
• Knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and bar operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic understanding of F&B products and menu items.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Team‑oriented, proactive, and customer‑focused attitude.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Must be legally eligible to serve alcoholic beverages as per UAE regulations.
