Job summary

Alabbar Enterprises is seeking a cafe assistant to prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks while maintaining a clean, well-stocked workspace and a welcoming customer area. You will provide excellent service and work well under pressure to meet guests' expectations.

You will handle equipment, liaise with managers and staff, and ensure food hygiene and safety standards are consistently followed to uphold the brand’s reputation for quality and service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service.
• Ability to use a manual coffee machine.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dedication to customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards.
• Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
• Ensure agreed food hygiene, licensing and safety standards are followed at all times.
• Liaise with managers, waiters and runners to ensure smooth operations.
• Clean glasses, utensils, bar and bar equipment and restock bar-related supplies.
• Order, date and store food, sanitize equipment and maintain food quality.
