Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and light foods while delivering friendly, attentive service. The candidate should be passionate about coffee and maintain high hygiene standards in a fast-paced cafe environment.

You will operate espresso machines, manage POS transactions, upsell items, and ensure the cafe area remains clean and organized during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty coffees.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment efficiently and safely.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, and presentation.
• Welcome customers, take orders accurately, and process payments through the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, service counter, and dining area.
• Refill supplies and monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Promote menu items and upsell beverages and food products to customers.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment and preparing the café for daily operations.
• Address customer concerns professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
