Job summary

Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort is seeking an enthusiastic hospitality professional to lead beverage service on the floor, ensure guest satisfaction, develop a strong team environment, coach new associates, and uphold Anantara standards during busy periods.

You will supervise bar operations, ensure quality beverage delivery, coordinate with food service, train new staff, maintain a clean and safe work area, and strive to exceed guest expectations with courteous, prompt service.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure guest satisfaction by developing and maintaining a strong team environment and delivering prompt, courteous beverage service.
• Provide quality beverages consistently by adhering to recipe and presentation standards; follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain calm demeanor during high-volume periods to keep operations to standard and set a positive example for the shift team.
• Assist with training of new associates and provide coaching to ensure successful performance.
• Deliver prompt and courteous beverage service, maintaining a positive image through guest contact and bar cleanliness.
• Ensure total guest satisfaction in service of food and beverage through supervision of prompt delivery.
• Assist on the floor to ensure adequate guest coverage during meals; strive to speak with all guests.
• Maintain motivated, well-trained staff through effective leadership and staff development.
• Open and close shifts in accordance with Manager's Checklist.
• Train, maintain and enforce Anantara Bar Service Standards.
• Execute revenue and check control procedures on shift.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all associates and guests.
• Gather and implement proper tools for running shifts (schedules, floor plans, reservations, checks).
• Identify and resolve daily problems such as call outs, last-minute bookings, or other issues.

• To promote and ensure guest satisfaction, achieved through his/her ability to develop and maintain a strong team environment, placing emphasis on Associate satisfaction and delivery of prompt, courteous beverage service.
• Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

• Prompt and courteous delivery of all beverage orders, maintaining a positive image through all each guest contact and through cleanliness of bar areas.
• Assure total guest satisfaction in the service of food and beverage through the supervision of prompt and courteous delivery of all Restauranta.
• During shift, ensure that guests are satisfied by assisting with serving, seating, and by striving to speak to all guests.
• Assist in maintaining a highly motivated and well trained staff
• Open and close shift in accordance with Manager's Checklist.
• Train, maintain and enforce all Anantara Bar Service Standards.
• Properly execute revenue and check control procedures on shift.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all Associates and guests
• Gather and implement all proper tools for running shifts (i.e. schedules, floor plans, reservations, checks)
• Find solutions for problems such as call outs, last minute bookings, or any other daily problems that may arise.
• Assist on the floor during entire meal period and ensure adequate coverage as required.
• Ensure that only a quality Beverage product is being served.
• Maintain proper Associate uniform standards.
• Manage an effective repair and maintenance program for all coffee machines and bar related equipment through the use of work orders, inspections, etc.
• Exercise station rotation to ensure stations are distributed fairly. Handle daily Associate relations (i.e. scheduling, time adjustments, etc.)
• Assist any Associate in his/her job performance, when required, to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist in implementing an effective training program for new and current associates
• Encourage problem solving by Associates through proper training and empowerment, to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Establish effective communication with Associates to gain their trust and respect through his/her hard work. Maintain fair and consistent counseling and/or disciplinary procedures in accordance with Anantara's Guarantee of Fair Treatment Policy
• Identify and recommend incentive programs, new ideas, and methods of operation
