Job summary

AccorHotel in Dubai is seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to greet guests, take drink orders, and craft beverages to the establishment’s standards. You will maintain a clean bar, manage inventory, and upsell seasonal drinks while ensuring guest satisfaction.

The role requires knowledge of cocktails and spirits, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. It offers a dynamic, diverse team environment with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take drink orders and serve beverages in a timely manner.
• Prepare and serve specialty cocktails and drinks according to the restaurant's standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
• Monitor and control inventory of beverage supplies.
• Upsell and promote featured drinks and specials to guests.
• Follow all food and beverage safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.
• Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and menu offerings.
• Create and update a beverage menu with seasonal offerings and specialty drinks.
• Participate in training sessions to stay current on new cocktails, wines and spirits.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service.
• Collaborate with the Restaurants Manager or Bartender to recommend and pair wines with dishes.
• Ensure bar area is stocked with necessary supplies such as glassware, garnishes and mixers.
• Attend to special requests or accommodations for guests such as dietary restrictions or allergies.
• Assist with special events, private parties and banquets that require bar services.
• Keep track of inventory levels and place orders for replenishment as needed.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible service practices.
• Conduct end-of-shift cash and inventory reconciliations and report any discrepancies to management.
