Job summary

Palazzo Versace Dubai is seeking a professional Banquet Server to join our luxury events team. You will set up banquet venues, assist with service during weddings, meetings, and other functions, and ensure guests receive attentive, seamless service.

The ideal candidate has experience in high-end hospitality, a strong guest-focused approach, and knowledge of food safety and allergen awareness. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Banquet Server or similar role.
• Knowledge of banquet and event service standards.
• Excellent communication and guest-focused approach.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and allergens.
• English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare banquet venues, tables, chairs, buffet areas, and service stations according to event requirements and hotel standards.
• Provide professional and attentive food and beverage service throughout banquets, meetings, weddings, and other events.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and according to the established sequence of service and event requirements.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, beverages, event details, and service procedures.
• Ensure tables, service areas, and equipment are kept clean, organized, and properly presented throughout the event.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, enquiries, and special requirements.
• Assist with clearing, resetting, and closing banquet areas after events while ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored.
