Job summary

Palazzo Versace Dubai seeks a capable service supervisor to lead the event service team in a luxury, guest-focused environment. You will ensure impeccably served beverages and dining experiences, anticipate guests’ needs, and maintain flawless mise en place for upcoming events.

The role requires a basic hotel diploma and at least 2 years in a 5-star, multicultural hotel setting, with speed, accuracy, and the ability to work long hours under pressure.

Qualifications

• Candidate should be multiskilled with strong service orientation.
• Speed and accuracy in handling service duties and guest requests.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure in a busy hotel environment.
• Flexibility to work long hours and shifts as required.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the service staff team.
• Ensure standards are maintained for guest satisfaction at all times.
• Be punctual and greet colleagues and supervisors on arrival.
• Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience for events.
• Anticipate and service guests' requirements before requests are made.
• Operate hotel POS and cash handling per accounting guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and mise en place for next day’s events.
• Ensure all areas and back areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Handle cash and card procedures according to policy.
