Job summary

PALAZZO VERSACE DUBAI is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Banquet Manager (Female) to lead banquet operations, from setup to breakdown, ensuring flawless guest experiences in our luxury environment. The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and a service-driven mindset within a prestigious hotel setting.

You will supervise events, coordinate with Events/Culinary/Stewarding teams, and uphold hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in banquet or events operations in luxury hotel settings.
• Strong leadership and service-focused attitude.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of BEOs, event flow, and service techniques.
• English proficiency; other languages are a plus.
• Willing to work long hours, weekends and holidays as per business demands.

Responsibilities

• Support the F&B Operations Manager in overseeing all banquet functions and ensuring seamless coordination from setup to breakdown.
• Supervise banquet staff during events, ensuring efficient service and adherence to hotel standards.
• Collaborate with the Events, Culinary, and Stewarding teams to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly.
• Review and implement Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring all setup and service details are met.
• Conduct daily briefings and delegate tasks to the banquet team.
• Monitor event progress and address any service gaps or guest concerns.
• Maintain banquet equipment and inventory, ensuring readiness and cleanliness for upcoming events.
• Train and coach team members to uphold service excellence and safety standards.
• Assist in evaluating staff performance and identifying development needs.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and health regulations throughout banquet operations.
