Job summary

MetLife seeks a senior leader to develop and execute sales strategies for Bancassurance across banking partners in the UAE. The role focuses on growing life insurance product lines while maintaining high-quality, compliant business practices.

You will coach and manage a team of Sales Managers, Insurance Advisors/Specialists, and Relationship Managers, driving cross‑selling and alliance success with banks and channels in Dubai Dafza and Dubai Hills.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent with strong business management and strategic leadership foundations.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in a leading Life Insurance company or Financial Institution, ideally Bancassurance.
• Minimum 3 years of sales and relationship management experience in UAE.
• Proven leadership to build, motivate and develop high‑performing teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with track record of sustainable growth and ambitious targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Strong relationship and account management capabilities for strategic partnerships.
• Customer‑centric mindset focused on superior client experiences.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive insurance business across designated banking partners and product lines.
• Develop and execute initiatives to achieve sales, profitability, and market share objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and support Insurance Advisors/Specialists and Relationship Managers to maximize performance.
• Identify and secure new Bancassurance partnerships and opportunities.
• Explore new distribution channels, customer segments, and industry verticals.
• Ensure alignment with MetLife's strategic priorities and communicate across the team.
• Promote sales quality standards and best practices across pre-sales, sales and post-sales.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams and partners.
• Build strong relationships with management and cross‑functional teams to improve processes.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure SLAs and governance standards.
• Maintain high standards of regulatory and corporate compliance.
