Job summary

T Choithram and Sons in Dubai seeks a Bakery Production & Display Associate to join our team. You will perform duties in bakery production, display goods, and maintain hygiene of utensils, equipment and the work area.

You will ensure timely production of quality products per the production cycle, operate bakery equipment, and engage with customers to ensure satisfaction. Follow FIFO and freshness standards to minimise wastage.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Strong understanding of hygiene standards and quality.
• Basic knowledge of bakery ingredients and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in Bakery production and display.
• Maintain hygiene of utensils, equipment, and work area.
• Timely production of quality products per production cycle and plan.
• Operate bakery equipment.
• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Escalate production issues to the Baker when needed.
• Minimise wastage of raw materials during production.
• Understand, describe and execute recipes.
• Adhere to FIFO and freshness of products.

Role & responsibilities

• Performing any combination of following duties in Bakery production & display
• Maintenance & Hygiene of Bakery utensils, equipment, and work area.
• Timely production of quality products as per the production cycle and plan
• Ability to operate the Bakery equipments
• Customer interaction and satisfaction
• Ensuring continuous availability of range & escalating any production related issues to the Baker
• Ensure minimum wastage of raw materials during production
• Effectively understand, describe and execute recipes
• Adhering to the FIFO method & freshness of products

Preferred candidate profile

• Should be a high school graduate (10th Pass)
• Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in Bakery/Pastry production
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English. Knowledge of Arabic/ Hindi is an advantage
• Bakery & Pastry craft course is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of hygiene standards & quality standards of the products for sale
• Basic knowledge of Bakery ingredients
