The Backoffice Assistant supports the operational control behind IKEA 's home delivery and customer fulfillment activities. Key Responsibilities

• Support daily outbound customer order activities and ensure fulfillment follows agreed customer delivery schedules.

• Reconcile delivery postings against proof of delivery confirmations and fulfillment records.
• Follow up with stores and service providers regarding outstanding or incomplete delivery orders.
• Maintain accurate records of delivered, pending, and reconciled customer orders.
• Prepare and submit KPI reports covering relevant last mile and fulfillment performance indicators.
• Ensure system procedures are followed consistently according to approved operating processes.
• Classify, sort, file, and archive operational documents in an organized and traceable manner.
• Maintain proof of delivery records for future customer queries, complaints, or escalation handling.
• Monitor delivery team performance and identify operational issues affecting service quality.
• Conduct spot checks to verify adherence to procedures, quality standards, and customer service expectations.
• Coordinate with last mile teams to support timely order fulfillment and minimize delivery delays.
