Job summary

AlFuttaim is seeking a Backoffice Assistant for Home Delivery Operations in Dubai, UAE. This role is integral to ensuring accurate order processing and outstanding service in logistics, specifically for IKEA's delivery operations.

Your responsibilities include monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), managing documentation, and collaborating with last mile teams for optimal delivery execution. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma and 2-3 years of relevant experience in delivery services or retail logistics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in last mile delivery services, logistics, or retail operations.
• Experience with kitchen furniture delivery and assembly operations preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Effective communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and submit KPI reports to track delivery performance and operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to system procedures and internal protocols for order processing.
• Classify, sort, file, and archive delivery and fulfillment documents accurately.
• Post completed delivery orders and follow up with stores for pending deliveries.
• Perform daily reconciliation of system postings.
• Monitor team performance through regular spot checks.
• Support initiatives to improve On-Time Fulfillment rates.
• Lead coordination with last mile teams for timely order completion.
• Maintain safe handling of operational equipment.
• Comply with all safety and operational guidelines.
