Job summary

Jet Aviation in Dubai seeks a Purchaser responsible for sourcing aviation parts, quoting, drop shipments, and managing repair processes to support direct sales and customer satisfaction. You will negotiate with OEM and aftermarket suppliers, optimize inventory levels, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and logistics to keep aircraft maintenance on schedule.

Proficiency in ERP systems and data analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of aviation regulations and procurement practices (FAA, EASA).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP tools and supply chain software.
• Ability to analyze data and make cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field (aviation experience preferred).
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase aviation parts, equipment, and services while adhering to quality, cost, and delivery standards.
• The Purchaser solicits quotations and checks parts availability from OEM and aftermarket suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and availability.
• Manage vendor selection, evaluate supplier performance, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders to prevent shipment delays and ensure timely delivery of parts.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by forecasting demand and placing timely orders.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to align purchasing with organizational goals.
• Use ERP systems and data analytics tools to track procurement metrics and provide performance reports to management.
