Job summary

Emirates Engineering in Dubai is seeking a Procurement Officer to support purchasing of aircraft spares, BFE, tools, consumables and retrofit materials to sustain dispatch reliability.

You will partner with engineering and contracts teams to optimize costs, lead times and supplier performance, and ensure timely approvals and invoice settlement for strategic projects. This role requires strong sourcing, negotiation and data analysis.

Qualifications

• 12 years schooling may be considered with 7 additional years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse, Logistics, and Inventory Control.
• Aircraft maintenance spares purchasing experience preferred; airlines/MRO background considered.
• Familiar with forecasting, materials management and purchasing.
• Knowledge of repair, warranty, stores, inventory interfaces and aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase BFE, tools, and retrofit materials per policy.
• Monitor overdue orders, backlogs, and vendor performance against KPIs.
• Review price and lead time with CMU and challenge variances.
• Clear invoices and store discrepancies with stakeholders and vendors.
• Prepare RFQs, shortlist, negotiate terms, and issue POs within authority.
• Coordinate service orders post-RFS and ensure payment after service completion.
• Evaluate BFE vs budget and seek supplemental approval if needed.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and ensure on-time delivery and cost optimization.
