Job summary

Air Arabia in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Stores and Procurement professional to bridge maintenance and procurement, ensuring timely acquisition and compliant storage of aircraft spare parts, tools and equipment. You will coordinate with QA, inventory and procurement to maintain quality standards and support AOG operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or management, strong English, and proficiency in Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ management or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Very good communication skills (verbal, written) at a high level of accuracy
• Very good English language
• UAE Driver’s License is preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitors stores function and locations including items, systems, data and process flow with safety, shelf life, calibration, transport, temperature and humidity control.
• Acts as middle point between Stores, stakeholders and Quality Assurance to ensure timeliness and adequacy of aircraft spare parts, tools and equipment for AOG.
• Conducts inspections on stores, deliverables and documentation; verifies compatibility and issues certificates for spare parts, tools and equipment.
• Ensures parts are stored, maintained and issued per standards and regulations; handles segregation, labeling, packing, loading, tagging and shipping.
• Verifies In/Out shipments documentation, content, labeling and serviceability as per procedures.
• Monitors storage, transport and shipment of chemicals and dangerous goods per IATA DG regulations; maintains quarantine registers and TPM reports.
• Ensures shelf life and calibration reports are run and staff are alerted to remove or repair expired items.
• Checks calibrated tools and issues Calibration Certificates with reference numbers.
• Guides Stores Controller on segregation and storage considering humidity and space, coding, etc.
• Liaises with procurement on purchased items and controlling inventory in quarantine.
• Coordinates with Inventory Controller on releasing items per requirements.
• Prepares stores for audit checks and ensures compliance; manages discrepancies and certification alignment.
• Ensures all parts scrapped are documented and reported to finance.
