Job summary

Emirates Engineering, part of The Emirates Group, seeks a Procurement Officer in Abu Dhabi to support purchasing of Aircraft Spares, BFE, tools and Retrofit materials for engineering. You will manage RFQs, negotiate terms, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in Supply Chain is preferable.
• Knowledge of inventory systems, forecasting, materials management and purchasing.
• Familiar with aircraft systems including maintenance philosophies, practices, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing of Aircraft Spares, BFE, Tools, Consumables and Modification Retrofit Materials required by Engineering.
• Prepare and execute RFQs, shortlist and negotiate best quotes, terms and incoterms; release POs within financial limits.
• Monitor overdue orders, backlogs, vendor performance and KPI metrics; coordinate with CMU and Groups Accounts Payable for timely payments.
• Follow EK policies and Authority Manual; ensure on-time delivery and cost optimization; post-acceptance service orders as required.
