Job summary

Rixos Premium Dubai JBR is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician to deliver seamless, high-quality AV services for luxury events, conferences, weddings, and VIP requirements. This role ensures all systems operate flawlessly in a five-star hospitality setting.

You will set up and run audio, lighting, and video for live events, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with events, IT and external vendors to exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering AV for luxury events.
• Knowledge of microphones, speakers, mixers, lighting consoles.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle professional AV equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, galas, and live entertainment.
• Operate sound, lighting, and video systems during live events with precision.
• Maintain AV equipment to five-star standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Provide discreet, on-site technical support for VIP guests and high-profile events.
• Collaborate with Events, Banquets, IT and external vendors to meet event needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report maintenance or replacement needs.

Role Summary

The Audio-Visual (AV) Technician is responsible for delivering seamless, high-quality audio-visual services across the resort. This role supports luxury events, conferences, weddings, entertainment venues, and VIP guest requirements, ensuring all AV systems operate flawlessly while meeting the high standards of a five-star hospitality environment.

SCOPE

• Set up, operate, and dismantle professional AV equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, gala dinners, and live entertainment
• Operate sound, lighting, and video systems during live events with precision and attention to detail
• Ensure optimal performance of microphones, speakers, mixers, lighting consoles, LED walls, projectors, and display screens
• Provide discreet, professional on-site technical support for VIP guests and high-profile events
• Anticipate event requirements and proactively address AV needs before and during functions
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively to minimize any guest impact
• Maintain AV equipment to five-star standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality
• Collaborate closely with Events, Banquets, Entertainment, IT, and external vendors
• Support conference rooms, boardrooms, in-room AV systems, and resort-wide digital displays
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report maintenance or replacement needs
• Adhere strictly to resort brand standards, health, and safety regulations
